Osborn Terrace

It all started when…
JTA were approached to undertake the full refurbishment of a two-bedroom maisonette in Blackheath. We were eager to adapt our design rationale to an alternative style of building.
As the site of a former bank, Osborn Terrace required significant restoration and repair throughout all three storeys. As with all of our projects, the success of the work grew from understanding spatial hierarchy, embracing craftsmanship and adapting to the needs of the client.
A key challenge of the project was bringing natural daylight into the centre of the property, where the introduction of a large roof light adds to the horizontal engagement between the front and rear, guiding the clients through the space.
