River Gardens

JTA were approached to undertake the full refurbishment of a 1930s three-bedroom apartment set alongside the River Thames. We were more than happy to prove that our design rationale can be applied to any style of building.

River Gardens is a something of a diversion from the mid-century modernist schemes we are known to produce, however, as with all of our projects the success of the work grew from understanding spatial hierarchy, embracing craftsmanship and adapting to the needs of the client.

Working closely with the client to build a unique specification, JTA were able to embrace the wider language of the property and make delicate alterations in order to produce a carefully considered eclectic design.

Collaborating with high quality kitchen designers Bulthaup and bespoke joiners Young & Blackmore allowed us to modernise the property with subtlety, providing the perfect backdrop for our client's large collection of artwork and antique furniture.
