JTArbonara

  • 500g Pasta
  • 1 packet smoked bacon
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic
  • parmesan to taste
  • peas (optional)
  • 1-2 eggs
  • pepper
  • salt

Boil water, cook pasta in Microwave.

Chop up bacon, put it in Tupperware. Crush the garlic, add to the bacon. Add some butter or olive oil. Put it in microwave for about 4 minutes. If you choose to add peas, add them halfway through.

Crack the eggs, mix them with grated parmesan, salt and pepper.

Once pasta is cooked, strain it, put it back in Tupperware. Add the bacon mix and the egg, put lid on and shake .

Eggs in Purgatory a la George

  • 1 packet chorizo
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 tins chopped tomato
  • 1 egg/person
  • salt
  • pepper
  • hot sauce (optional)

Chop up the onion and chorizo, mix in a bowl. Add some butter/olive oil and fry in the microwave for 3 minutes.  Add 2 tins of chopped tomatoes, a splash of water, salt and pepper to taste, and a pinch of sugar. Hot sauce is optional. Boil in microwave for 3 more minutes. After that, crack eggs into the tomato mix, and boil a bit longer to poach the eggs. Serve with fresh baguette.

Max's Sausage Pasta

  • 1 packet of sausages
  • 1 small bottle of white wine
  • 1 lemon
  • fennel seeds to taste
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 packet of fussili
  • blocks of cheddar
  •  

Boil water, cook pasta in Microwave (takes about 4 minutes, then just leave it in the water while cooking the rest)

 Squeeze out sausage meat into the Tupperware, add crushed fennel seeds, pepper and salt to taste, add some butter, a dollop of white wine and the juice of a lemon. Put it in the microwave for about 5 mins.

 Grate Cheddar, add to sausage mix to reduce viscosity,  put it back in the Microwave.
